Monday on vaca

Ah it was a good one . Slept late, Kevin made a wonderful leasurely breakfast, and as he predicted we got out the door at very close to noon.  We went to Tetons national park, sidewinders grill for a great lunch, and rock skipping lessons on the way home from town.

We do need to have a nap, and figure out a way to get a cheesecake brownie - we need to go back

Travel Socks - good call Ms Dobson

The
ISouthern Wyoming is a dust bowl with 60 mph + winds today!  Not fun driving.  Thankfully I brought my trusty travel socks.
See!  The mountain s just appeared out of the middle of nowhere.  I remember why we are here now .  Other than that it was a real yawner.  Glad to have arrived at a cute little condo.  The weather is supposed to be delightful tomorrow.

We did manage to see lots of animals.  Buffaloes, cows, llamas, horses, ponies, big horn sheep, regular sheep, deer, antelope, geese, ducks, cranes, and a German Shepard that looked a lot like a coyote but wasn't.

It's nice the kids can still get excited about kid things.  Typical time share accommodation s but built in bunk beds, and an eclectic supply of books -pretty exciting

I'm sick, so we aren't doing a ton.  Today we drove.  Swan lake Idaho and

the ski area.  I wish the others would have brought bikes (and I could have nursed my cold and stayed home to quilt.  Bike paths everywhere.

mini gillis cousin lunch

Karen Gillis Taylor, Bob Gillis, Leslie's Gillis Clark, Colleen Gillis Dobson , and Roberta (Scheper) Gillis at Garbonzo's Mediterranean grill in Centennial.  Topics discussed, a family reunion here, a trip to Scotland, and the Isle of Skye, favorite hand gestures, and a run incomplete run down of which cousin is doing what and where.  .  . The conversation definitely  needed to be continued .
