Black light run !

The BlacklightRun !!  It was indeed a fun run !  

This is how I found them all night long.  Scott's recently blonde, haloed head, (that is thankfully a few inches taller than most), or, 

Abi's butt, which was doing a light show.

Yes , I jumped up and down too .  I even had "map my ride" going, the mileage would be more if it could have counted the vertical feet . 

I must say, these guys are pretty fun to hang out with, you know, for teenagers.  👍

May 14, 2016 - Why so melancholy?

I reminded Mom a few weeks ago that she might just be feeling down because of the time of year.  This is when dad died.  How long ago now? (always seems like the answer should be 2 years or so . . .) 6. 6 years now.  And then good old Facebook pops up with their "remember when" picture. He was OK with going on to his next adventure, but he also wanted to get up out of that bed and come home for more time with us.  Miss you every day Dad!  I need to remind myself today - "Happy for the time we got to have you here",   "Happy for the time we got to have you here"- like a mantra.
