Well that was quick !! What happened !

Last day at Beaver Creek.  Sigh.  Bye bye mountains.

More summer in the mountains pics

Ye know what I really like about the mountains ?  variety.  One restaurant is proudly playing the exact same music I assume they have been playing since at least 1985 ( when I lived in Keystone ).  Another had Nirvanas heart shaped box, followed by Barbie Girl (come on Barbie, let's go party ) and other songs from this century.  Eclectic, you could say.  

Now we are having breakfast in a place that clearly doubles as a bar in the evening.  (Breakfast burrito was great !)

Well - hanging lake is quite a hike .  

Everyone encourages each other on the way up , the view is worth it !  

We paced ourselves.  The girls were troopers , particularly considering their teenagerie-ness.

And we were having such a good time, I didn't even stop to take a picture.  (It was weird, but I did it - because my phone was buried in the basket.  It felt authentic.).

Well, I'm FINALLY getting excited about going up to the mountains for a week! Oddly enough, I'm making sure all the electronics/technology are/is fully functional.  I'm hoping to laze around quite a bit.  Gotta pack, but, able to log onto the blog -check!
