Lilly just left us to chase bunnies across the rainbow bridge so I didn't comment.
I did however go to the grocery store, and as i walked past a end cap of her exact dog food, thought all these thoughts in the span of a second. . .
- I should get dog food.
- I should check if we need dog food.
- Why don't I know if we need dog food?
- I feed her everyday.
- Whose been feeding the dog if not me?
- Well we don't have to feed the dog any more....
Because Lilly is gone. :/
(I guess I've stopped thinking about it constantly, just a couple times a day now.)

ReplyDeleteWhen our goubd Trooper died it was sad. I still think of him when rhe. Eifhbor dog lets out his hound dog bail! It sounds just like Trooper. We borh smile!
