NYC

Day 1 - Bus to the Theatre District, around the corner from the Late Show in the Ameritania.  Test out those walking shoes and head to Time Square.  Next, Dizzy's Jazz club and the Stanley Cowell Quartet.  Back to Time square, and sleep!

Day 2-  Starbucks across the street! Double-decker bus tour, Lunch on the Peir and onto the Harbor tour, Statue of Liberty,  dumped out for shopping, ACK!  back to the hotel to get ready for: the Metropolitan Opera, Beethoven's Fidelio! Subways, room checks, me my feet hurt, sleep,

Day 3 - Go , start Starbucks again, Radio City Music Hall, lunch at the Stardust diner, subway to the 9/11 Memorial (not enough time!), boom! back to time square, shopping, dinner, the Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theater on Broadway, quick trip to the top of the Rock, 10 miles at least walking today and I'm told it was the least of the 3 - I slept like a rock.

Day 4 - Bring it on home.  Check out, off to MOMA, over the river and through Central Park, (but darn it, Balto was just a pathway away, but we were in express mode - no stops) The last group check, and home, blessed home!  So happy to be home.  "I can't wait to stop having to adult."
